Programme Summary

Graduates will acquire an in-depth knowledge and necessary skills to effectively perform the role of a supply chain manager. The programme also aims to develop the capacity to adapt and innovate to solve problems and to manage the uncertainties of business environment with the use of supply chain management theory, methodologies and tools.

After 8 months (2 semesters), full-time students can be awarded with a Postgraduate Certificate in Supply Chain Management, subjects to meeting the standard set and measured through course-work.

Entry Requirement

A Bachelor’s degree (MQF Level 6) with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or its equivalent qualifications as accepted by the University’s Senate

OR

Candidates with the above degree, with a CGPA of lower than 2.50 or its equivalent qualifications may be accepted, subject to having a minimum of 5 years relevant working experience.

International students are required to show a good level of English Language proficiency.

The University accepts a minimum score of IELTS band 5.5 or its equivalent.

Programme Learning Outcomes (PLO)

PLO1 Construct knowledge of the functional components within the business organization environment and create the supply chain management best practices for the automotive as well manufacturing and services industries.
PLO2 Improve interpersonal skills in individual within the supply chain management.
PLO3 Elaborate the responsibility of a business manager in the context of contemporary social, cultural, global and environmental issues.
PLO4 Design the supply chain activities and operations in compliance with relevant national and international law, legislation, regulations, safety requirements, and professional standards.
PLO5 Communicate effectively as required in a business culture and participate effectively in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of projects in order to create best practice in supply chain management.
PLO6 Determine decision making tools and resources, in accordance with the requirements of supply chain management.
PLO7 Utilise information technology systems efficiently to support managerial decisions, embrace for lifelong learning, pursue independent learning for professional development and present oneself professionally.
PLO8 Develop decision model for successful supply chain management in local and international market place.
