STEP 2
Student required to complete the form in DRB-HICOM University online application and submit the photocopy of the following documents when you visit our campus:
- Certified true copy of Identity Card.
- Certified true copy of SPM or equivalent/full transcript of Diploma/Degree or any other relevant documents.
*You will be advised on the status of your application eligibility. Should you wish to accept the programs offered with eligible result, please make a minimum payment of RM1625 as registration fees.
STEP 3
Official offer letter will be issued after the documents and payment are verified.

Submit the photocopy of the following documents:
- A copy of passport
- Academic Certificates
- English Language requirement PTE/IELTS /TOEFL/CAE/ CPE/MUET (if available)
*All documents required for verification with respective faculties to receive Offer Letter/ Conditional offer letter.
STEP 2
Student will receive Conditional Offer Letter / Offer Letter within 7 days after sending the related documents requested via email.
STEP 3
Send documents required to DRB-HICOM University to apply for the Student Visa.
Documents required:
– Photo with white background
– Offer Letter/ Conditional Offer letter
– Passport (all pages)
– Academic Certificates
– Health Declaration form
– Proof of payment; MYR2830 (Visa, Insurance and student processing fees) + MYR 1500 Security Bond

STEP 4
Malaysia Immigration Department issues an Electronic Visa Approval Letter (e-VAL) for all approved applications via EMGS website. Students and institutions can access the VAL instantaneously. Once e-VAL obtained, student can download the e-VAL via EMGS website.

STEP 5
Students from countries which require a visa to enter Malaysia must apply for the (Single Entry Visa) SEV at Malaysian Mission abroad/ Malaysian Embassy and bring the e-VAL copy.
Process duration: 48 hours (e-VISA) / 1-3 weeks (normal process)
Students receive the Single Entry Visa and purchase flight ticket.
STEP 6
Student must have a valid passport, Single Entry Visa (if applicable) & VAL to enter Malaysia and liaise with DRB-HICOM University representative regarding their travel arrangements. Upon arrival, DRB-HICOM University representative will meet and guide the students at the airport (Immigration Counter). Malaysia Immigration Department issues a 30-Day Special Pass (SP) at point of entry as a temporary permit for students to stay in Malaysia until the Student Pass is issued.
STEP 7
Students must complete a medical screening within 7 days upon arrival in Malaysia at EMGS registered clinics and results will be submitted online to EMGS within 4 working days. After students qualify for a Student Pass upon clearance of medical screening, DRB-HICOM University representative will submit the student’s passport at the Malaysia Immigration Department’s to endorse the Student Pass sticker.
STEP 8
Malaysia Immigration Department endorses the Student Pass on the student Passport for all approved applications within 10 working days. The i-Kad, (international student identity card) will be issued within 7 working days upon issuance of the Student Pass.
