Master of Science in Engineering Technology

Programme Summary

The university provides research facilities and services for postgraduate students including an experienced pool of academic staff. The students will be facilitated to do research in a variety of engineering topics based on their interest and aims such as automotive, mechanical, manufacturing, industrial, material and much more.

Entry Requirement

A Bachelor’s degree (MQF Level 6) in Engineering / Engineering Technology with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or its equivalent from a recognised university;

OR

candidates with the above degree, with a CGPA of between 2.50 – 2.75 may be accepted, subject to the University’s rigorous internal assessment;

OR

candidates with the above degree, with a CGPA of lower than 2.50 may be accepted, subject to having a minimum of 5 years relevant working experience.

International students are required to have a TOEFL score of 550 or IELTS band 5.0 or its equivalent.

If a student does not meet this requirement, he/she has to attend an intensive course to ensure that the student’s proficiency is sufficient to meet the needs of the programme.
